Dearest Lovis  The contenuation of the letter I wrote and mailed to you Feb 2nd could not be continued as soon as wanted to and I am real sorry. Last Sunday forenoon I was very buissy and in the afternoon I went to the funeral of Francis Nelsons little girl ad although it was but a child that was dead it was a sad afair and I was all in when I came home. Sister Merrill, Miss M. Nebeker, and Milton Merrill was here to the funeral and they all came and spoke to me after the meeting Miss Neberker said her and Leila had written to you and their letter been returned and Miss Myrtle asked me if I knew why you dont write to them and Milton told me to send you his kind regard this was the first time I seen him since he got back from his mission he is sure the same Milton.

Yesterday I again wanted to write to you but just as I was getting ink and pen and paper ready & to write Vera came at noon and stayed untill way after the mailman passed and last evening I went to Relif Sosity Meeting Vera wanted to know if you have forgotten your old friends but wished you write to her any way. Oh dear, she is cute and I think she is very good for calling in here and spend an afternoon. she sends you her love. I got a whole hand full of mail yesterday one letter from you, one from Grace, one from Joe, and Arthur got a letter from Joe and I sure thaugth I could answer yours and Joes to day before the mailtime but I was cutting and salting down the meal this forenoon while it was thawed and it took me much longer than I expeckted and so before I had the schanty cleaned out and dinner cooking it was 2 p m and I thank you so very much for your letters they are sure a great comfort to me.

I am sorry now over what I wrote and told you but as you know how things goes on I dont want you to worrie, and I feel ashamed to worrie you about my trouble but I sure felt awful as never before when I wrote that letter I feel much better now when I read your letter saying the people in your town been praying for rain I thaugth Oh how grand I know if we prayed more and put our trust in the Lord we would feel much happier than we at times do. your letter is true every word of it but it will sure be nice when we or if we could all see alike. I must now stop writting and go to work and bake skorpor [biscuits].

It is snowing here this morning and I have swept paths for a ½ hour this morning and everybody will be glad about the snow as we have not had enouph snow in the canions sufficient to supply us with irrigation water for next sumer.

It is sure sad about Jennies br in law it is strange how all thoose men in that family end upp. I wonder very much what Jennie is doing. I will not write to her untill I hear from her and then I vont tell her anything about you telling me o No do you want me to send Jennis letter back if you do I will send it next time I write to you or when you let me know. I have not heard about Grace being in Garland she wrote to me last Sunday evening and she said she been to fast meeting in the afternoon at Malad and was waiting on customers at the same time she was writting to me if Arthur goes to Fort Sill on the 15 I think I shall get ready and go to Malad soon after he goes and go on the train I have now had two letters from Darold lately and he is saying he is saving his quarters for to help pay my fares and for me to hurry and come.

Grace says Darold got a toolbox for xmas and by that box he stands on his knees like his Grandpa does by his and picks and theere is were he keeps thoose quarters he is sure a cute little kid I can not wait untill I see them all. You speaks about the rate fare from Ogden to Calif. Well your Dad said after he ready your letter I think we will go to Calif sometime but not yet as I just got back from there and it be better for you to come next now so we can all see you and you can do the same & see us all. and then your Dads turn will come next winter and mebe so mine and Graces to.
