My dear Baby Wisha
Have you be to day I hope you
and all of you are fine and dandy
I just
wrote a letter to Grace before dinner and as dinner is now past and dishes are
washed I shall write to you, first I want ot hank you and Grace to for
writtting to me as often as you do I been thinking that I have wrote equeely
[equally] but by your last letter it dont sound like it wish [which] I am sorry
over well you see I can not remember any thing We have recived the Chronicle
and we thank you for sending it to us as we are sure getting much kick
out of it.
It is
sure awful about the robbery I guess Grace is scared to death I am glad the
cayth [caught] the robbers and that the Officers did not get hurt I guess you
went to Church last evening I was to Church in the afternoon yesterday and we
had a nice meeting only I wished it had been more people theere and as I sat I
asked myself wheere can all the popele be that belong to this Ward and what are
they all a doing on a Sunday afternoon.
I am
sorry to hear that it take such long time for you to gain strength you can be
thankful that Floyd is so god and kind to you and got under standing and are
willing to help you and know how to take care of you I know if you will be
prayerful to the Lord and be patience that you will be well and that you will
have your harts desires if they are rigthsious. I read a sermon Yesterday
forenoon and while reading it I thaugth of you and that you be interested
reading it so I will enclose it and I hope you will not take any offense
because I dont mean to refer to any body by sending it I enjoyed reading it as
it encourage me to live true & faithfull.

Israelson called in here last evening to see us she asked for you I guess her
Mother had sent her she was going to mutual from here she said they were all
well and wants me to come down, mebe I will go down one of these days.
Mebe I
will answer Mrs Arthurs letter some day but I know better then to say anythinga
bout what have transpired between you and her, and I vont tell for all the
world that Grace lives in Berkeley then I know how brown Grace would look and
how worried she be to have Mrs Arthur come and sit and wait to be waited on
& if she founds out it is not going to come through me.

is sawing wood and Arthur went a fishing to day. I am so glad our pumps are
cleaned and fixed up the water in the wells are as clear as crystal and have a
good taste to it I am going to Wash again to morrow. We got an awful time to
keep the flyes out as it is chillie outside and the[y] cluster on the
screendoor and watches their change [chance] to get in and when the[y] smell
cooking they are worst then ever, we have wore the fly swatter entirly out and
bougth onother that makes three fly swatters for this season have you any
flyes, I guess not how is the fleece treaten you by this time, theere is still
a few mosquitos alive here.
