I wonder how you all are as we did not hear from you all last week well in the shape of a letter I mean

Grace and the children and one of Grace’s store girls came down for Decoration Day and stayed for 2 Days and ½ and when back to Malad yesterday at 4 p m we had a good visit togather I had any way Grace helped me so much with the work and yesterday we cooked a swell dinner F.O. and family was here with us to eat and visit Annie stayed all day Grace went in for Annie and the children, F.O. had to work but came out for dinner, and then after work F.O. came we had supper here. they stayed untill 9 30 p m, F.O. overhauled Graces car before she started out and last nigth F.O. called Malad up to see if Grace got home alrigth and she said yeas she got home all O.K.

All the children and ourselfes are all well the kids played in the sand pile and then in the grass, the had 3 kittens and one dog that the feed and watched eating and drinking milk and the mallied [mauled] them around untill it is a wonder the lifes are spared to day, mebe the dog is deat to day, I dont know Darold he took it home it was Louises dog but he gave it to Darold it was a cute little white curley dog but it bit Shirly so she cried and Annie said the better get rid of it.

I will enclose a letter that we got from Arthur last Sarturday so you can better see what he says then if I just wrote and told it to you, Now I hope if he come to see you that he will leave you with a good feeling and not cause any troubble and as you know him you can watch and be vise and kind to the poor way ward boy of aurs or mine, I have wrote to him this morning. he must be sick as his addrass says Casual.

Grace and I went upp to the cemetery on Decoration Day and we bougth Snowballs for to decorate our dear and loved ones graves we did not stay very long upp theere because it was awfully storm weather, the weather was fine yesterday and is finer to day. N. Logans Children are all having the measles I dont think theere is a home now that have not got it it have spread so rapidly, Verna is getting over the measles now.
