Dearest Lovis
I know you
be looking for a letter from me by the time this comes. First I will say that your
Dad feels much better now and I am well and are the same as ever I recived your
letter a few days ago there was no date given so I dont know when it was
written I am sorry you did not got the rooster for the time I wanted you to
have it. I guess I better cut it out to send anything it is more bother to you
then it is worth. I done a big washing yesterday I only had 5 machines and 3
pair of blankets I started to wash 8 30 a m & I got through at 3 30 p m so
I feel just rigth to day for to sit down and write letters. you been telling me
to kiss Abie I have forgot to tell you he is not here he went back to Malad
when Grace was home this last time and I understand he is doing much better now
he have had his picture taken and he sent me one and he sure looks fine I am
going to write to him and thank him for it and tell him to send one to you.
We sure
have had some drives here for the last week or two distributing for our two
missionaries we got out from this ward and for the starving poeple in Europe I
dont know just how much monny and clothes was given for the Europians but
Bishop Kemp give out in Meeting last Monday evening the $49 been given for the
missionarias at that time and that more been promised and are expected that
will be x mas present for them from the Relif Sosity N. Logan Ward. I think you
have answered my letters pretty well only did you get your pocket knife and the
little old teaspoon? I was called down to Mrs Wuirstain nigth before last she
is pregnant and have had noticed blood that evening so she got awful nerveous
and sent for me. after I been theere for 2 hours and talked to her I got her
convinced that she was not in any danger now to loose her baby but the blood
came from being costive [?] and she
got piles her husbaund is not at home so she got a lot off cares he is at
Daniels Idaho a working she asked me to come down at the time but as she dont
expeckts untill Januari I told her I could not promise for sure because I migth
go to Malad New Years if your Dad can get along without me she is feeling
better but I told her to stay off her feet as much as she can and to take a
mild laxative and consult a Dr. rigth away.
I got job
to make one quilt one pillow, and one madrass. for a doll bugge for Irene Grace
sent me the masure ment I told her I wanted to do it and that it be my Santa
Claus gift. when I heard that Grace had bougth the doll bugge. I shall put upp
your quilt this afternoon when it onece gets upp it generally gets down I shall
sew some on it every onece in a while I think I go to town to morrow to get the
ticking for your pillows. We got very nice weather here to day the Sun is
shining warm in through theese south Windows we have real cold nights.
Yesterday Dr Wennergreen was out here given every Cow and calf in N. Logan a test for tuburculous I hope ours is alrigth it
is a state wide test. some animals at Lewiston
had tuberculous and was killed. your br F.O.s’ finger is getting along fine now
had the stitches taken out.
Tell Floyd
not to worrie over Dadie walking to town he is a good walker we have the horses
way away from hom now on the 10 acres and it would off took longer time to go
for the horse and was much farther then to walk to town I belive he got a ride
when he got to the main road. I had more on my mind I thaugth I write about but
Annie came out to spend the afternoon so I wait and write more next time and
will close Give my love to Floyd and expet a bushel off Love for yourself
