Dr and Mrs F H White    not knowing who I love most of you two I will say. My dear folks at Berkely Calif A week ago to day and on this very hour I left Berkeley. I hope & pray you are well I have not heard from you since I came to Logan.

            We got the most beautiful weather here now Arthur came home last Thursday and he is buisy plowing our open land. I went to meeting yesterday afternoon and all my neabors and friends was glad to see me back home after meeting sister Pearl walked down the street with me and I asked her to come in and she did and she stayed untill 5 30 p m we had a nice visit togather she told me to remember her to you I am buissy every day so when nigth come I am so very tired.

            I shall send a small box no later than next Wednesday I like you to get it for next Sunday I will put a little salt on the meat for fear it migth spoil the Lard you can melt yourself then theere is no charge on a bucket be sure to watch the Card when you render it so it vont burn in your quick overn The eggs are 45¢ here so I vont send any untill I hear from you and see what you say our chickens dont lay now or else I would send you some eggs off our own without charge. I was not made very welcome at Vest Veber and Sophie did not mentioned anything about the feathers so I came away without them but I will send you the feathers I got here but as you know how slow I am to get around to do what I should but if you have patience with me I will send them as soon as I can, I thaugth I would ask you something and I like for you to answer me soon If you remember Annie sewing a whole top for a quilt togather from little square pisis [pieces] I wonder if you will except it for a top off the quilt I said I would make for you, it is all new pisis [pieces] now plaese let me know.

            I see you manage to get that short stump off the knife in my satsel [satchel] I wanted you to keep it but I dont want to give anything that is sharp, and see I bet you think I stole your little pocket knife but I did not I know I sharpened that yellow lead pencil with it and I must of put it in my purse not thinking what I was a doing when I put the pencil in my purse I shall send it well wrapped in with the box I send you I did not noticed the knife untill I came to Sacramento and the little table knife did not see it before I was in Vest Veber getting my nightgown out off the satsel.

            I guess that is all the business for this time, I got a few newsies to tell you before I close.

            Ellen Maughn gave birth to a baby boy Oct 26 and all is well with them. Old Lady Nyman is very sick been sick a week she got the gallstone Pher Wilhelm comes to see her twice a day Fransis Nelson and family left here yesterday for Freson Calif I guess Fransis will get work theere only I dont know much about them only I know they left here for Fresno We are all well and are getting along as usual, I have not got a letter from Grace or from no one else since I got home it is pretty lonesome I will close with an ocean full off love your old & green Mother
