My dear Grandma:

I have been along time writing to you but I have been so busy with my school work that I can hardly find time to write any letters.

I fell down on my knee when I was skating and hurt my knee then I picked the scab off and I got two boils on my knee so I can’t go to school. I am getting better now. my knee is almost well.

On Satruday I help mama clean the house and Gladys and I got to town and buy our own stockings and we get the grocries for mama and help her all we can because she has a lot to do all the time.

mama is making us some new gingham dresses for school.

It is awfully worm weather here now. We have ice cream here every evening. I hope yow are well. We are all well only my boils and mama has rheumatism in her shoulder.

I must close now loving you girl Elvira.
