Dearest Lovis

I dont think it is my turn to write but I will say like the leadning man in the opera said Never mind that. The weather here have took a big change it is raining and the snow is melting very fast and the water is running in the wheel tracks down the road like little streams it makes a person feel a little chillie but not cold and I am glad I can go out and get a breath of fresh air.

I wonder how you are and what you are doing last nigth I dreamed I was in Berkeley and you did not knew I was comming I took the street car from the Depot and got up on Shattuck got of[f] and walked upp Haste Street and passed the Office up to the corner of Fulton and turned south untill I came to the house I thaugth  you lived in and I went up the steps and I opened the door and went in without knocking and you came to see who it was and you sure looked surprised and you did not say one word so I said See I told you I been in Berkely two times and so I will be sure to come the third time and so here I am I thaugth you were buisy and it was not long before I was helping you scrub on my knees and when I thaugth it was time for Floyd to come I went and hid in under the table and that was the end of my dream I awoke and it was just peeping day ligth I did not go back to sleep any more mebe I will hear from you to day.

I went to town yesterday Abie and I had dinner with Annie and Franklin Annie said she was so very pleased you gave her those aprons, the[y] are all find and well now the children are sure cute and are growing between each time I see them. Shirly gets up in the cink [sink] and turns the water on she sure needs to be watched Louis he is not quite so active he is more slow it keeps Annie buissy watching them.

While I was in town yesterday I went down to Johnsons in the West Field sister Janson passed away last Wednesday nigth she was at the undertaker parlor at Lindquists and is to be buried to morrow well when I am telling such sad news I will tell you more Br Dallof Sen. was buried last Sunday the[y] never sent me any word about it or else I would of went to his funeral, Johnsons phoned last Thursday and told me their Mother had passed away, when I was down to Johnsons I intended to help them to do something but when I been theere for a while I turned deathly sick theere was such an awful smell from the fumigation they have had in their house and then seeing Ruth and them all feeling so very sad I could not stay and when I got up to town I meet F.O. and he asked me what was the matter with me I looked so sick & pale I told him and he said it best for me to stay away from such places it reminds me to much of our own sorrow and loss. I guess F.O. will come and take me to the funeral but I wont go into their house.

I am glad to hear about Bonus Bill I wish Utah state or Idaho would pass it.

Do you have the Relif Sosity Magazine I guess you can not hardeley do without it being an Officer.

Do you ever see Mrs Hungerford and how is Miss or Mrs Alcott by this time tell them both hello from me. One day here I meet that Lady in the Post Office that gave me lemons on the train when you and I was on our way to Berkeley she asked for you and said for me to give you her love she is teaching at Provo she went to East last summer I guess I better quitt writting and go to work as it is sarturday  morning.

I will close with a lot of love and much thanks to you for everything your Dad is feeling much better and Arthur is well and growes bigger all the time, so long by by  x and a big galore  x

                                    Mumsie, Caroline J. Peterson.
