Hello Lovis! how are you this morning? I or we have recived two letters from you since I wrote to you I got a little nerveous when I got two letters in two days but I am thankful you were alrigth. We have had a beutiful rain here this morning it is now 11 45 a m and the sun is shining clear and warm on the earth and it seems as you can see how the grass is growing it sure begins to look pretty around here nows at least I think so and the leafs are starting to come out on our trees, last week was a week of gadding for me from Monday to Friday night and last sarturday I tryed to make up for it I had our bed clothes out airing and cleaned the bedroom and done some other sarturdays work besided and it made me feel awful tired, your Dad went to town sarturday afternoon and he bougth ands sent out a new bedspring one like FOs and Annies and I am sure glad.

Theere was Primary Conference here in our Ward yesterday afternoon and after meeting the Relif Sosity sisters went down to Old Lady Cronquist it was her 73rd birthday. I did not go to any I was to tired and then Arthur came home and I expeckted F.O. and family out but they did not come untill 5 p m, Arthur went to his work on the 6 p m car. FO and family stayed untill 10 last nigth.

Vera came in here after the Primar Conference Arthur asked her to play for us and she did I enjoyed it very much untill she played Falling Waters, Water of Yosemite. then I needed a hankerchif but I did not dare let Vera see what I used the hankerchif for after she was so kind to play for us she said she is comming over again and bring some of her pisis [pieces] of music that I had not heard you play and play them for us. We had a real nice time at Agneses shower theere were between 40 a 50 persons theere and each gave her a present I gave her a pair of candle stands and I put Orange colhor [color] candles in them, the same color as her Wedding dress.

I thank you for letting me read Graces letter I learned things from it that she had never written to me about but that is alrigth any way I shall never never never tell Dear Grace she has so many cares and so much work she can not think to write about everything F.O. and Annie called Grace up last sarturday nigth and Grace told them they are comming down next Sunday, it’s Easter you know. last Friday morning Sister Kemp send me word that Suprentendent Adam Bennion was to speak at the Brigham Young College at 11 a m so I hurried and went to hear him he sure spoke fine I enjoyed it vey much he told the Students he had wrote a letter last Thursday and it was the hardest letter he had ever written it was to a friend of his that is or was in the penitantiory  at San Quinteen San Fransisco who was to be hung in a few days he asked in his letter this young man to write back and answer him and tell him what he would now say or tell the young people if he had the change to speak to them.

No wonder the Suprentendent said it was the hardest letter he ever written I would like to know what else he wrote to this chum of his and what the answer would be. I wonder if you have heard about it what ever have this man done and what is his name your Dad thinks it is a Salt Lake man & it is the one that killed that girl. I am glad it was not the Mrs Blythe I thaugth it was that came to see you O yeas some of this day I will pout on my best and go and see this Mrs Rick friend I will find her alrigth.

I got a letter from Mrs Griffeath a few days ago and she said she got married March 6th to a big farmer in Memphis Missouri by the name of Fletcher Hyde he is 60 years old. I also have heard from Elvira I shall send you the letter for you to read. the dear little ones I shall send them an Easter box, Frank dont seem to have any use for me any more or else he would write a few lines to me sometimes Do you think you will go to see them?

I know a lot of other things I have thaugth of writting to you about but your Dad wants his dinner so I shall close and get dinner just one more thing before I close I bet Clarissa Smith was buisy at the Salt Lake Conference given out hyms, ha ha. So long with a lot of love I write to Floyd but I feel my ignorance and dissabilites. your Mother Caroline J. Peterson.
