My dearest Baby Visa White.

Yours so welcome letter was recived this afternoon and I get glad when I get a letter from Berkeley.

We have had a find day to day the best day we have had since the winter begun When I opened the door this morning at 7 30 the air smelled like it does in the spring yesterday we had sleet and snow and rain mixed and it came down in torrents. I hope the weather will stay like this the snow has melted down considerable so to day the poeple been to town in their cars.

Verna and Zella or Zells I can not think wich one of thoose names are rigth but you will know well they came down to see he this afternoon Verna been getting two letters from Audrey and they are sure some sweet letters Audrey asks Verna to come down and kiss me for her four times so Verna kissed me four times this afternoon for Audrey some kissing match I’ll say and Zella she sat and looked on and smile. The men teachers been here this evening Orvin and Obie Larson the[y] wanted to know when br Peterson is comming back. I told them I dont know.

Thanks for sending the paper it was sure an awful crime that that girl have committed I feels to pray to the Lord and to the law of the land to be mercyful unto her the poor girl she must have been possesed the picture of her is not like she be a kind or a goodharted girl and not even when she were a child. It is sad Mrs Arkit have passed away but I hope she is happy to be out of pain when she could not get cured.

Well Lovis you asks me how I feel now days and if I am sick any of the time, I feel alrigth I have not been sick one hour this winter but I get tired sometimes and I blame that to the cold weather. Arthur and I are getting along better than I thougth we would I am not a bit nerveous being here alone so much untill quite late Arthur is gone to town to nigth and all I could give him was 35¢ he did not liked it very much if he did not went so often I could have more to give him when he asks for monny. I can not expeckt for him a young man to stay in or home with an old woman but it is the monny question that is our trial and troubble but I feel satisfied he has enouph monny for the worth he gets out of it but young people can not see it in that light.

Theere has been onother N. Logan man left for California Will Ferguson went to Los Angeles eigth or ten days ago you know Lenett and her husbaund live theere. and Br Hughes ralation also went back to San Fransisco last fall again. I am so sorry because Floyd dont feel very good I suppose he has seen a Dr as sometime canker is not to neglegt I just to mix a little Golden seal, and Borax, and sugar a half a teaspoon of each and just take as much as can lay on a ½ dime of that dry mixture and put it on my tounge [tongue] and move my tounge around so it touched the canker sores and not swallow it to quick but awallow it as the canker is in your stomack before it gets in your mouth. Dr Peterson. Well it is nothing to fool around with so do something dor it. It is now 9 30 p m so goodnight with a kiss and a bear hug I migth write a line in the morning.

The Golden seal is to be taken after meals and at bedtimes.

Thursday 10 15 a m
