10-04-1924 FH White to LC White

[Enclosed with CJ Peterson’s letter to LC White, 11 Oct 1924.]

                                                                                    Berkeley, Cal

                                                                                    10/4/24/  [4 Oct 1924]

My Own Darling,

The last 3 mails that have come in have contained no letter from my Sweetheart. I wonder if you are on your way out here. Gee, I hope so, because I surely am getting tired of being a bachelor.

We talk about you at the house all the time, + wonder just when you will come home. Everything is find + dandy, Grace & Gus haven’t taken any bakery yet, but I think there are strong probabilities that they will take the little one on University Ave.

Darold is rigged up on new shoes, stockings + cap + he is quite some boy.

Dr McLain is getting around again & work is letting up some, am writing this before I go on a call so it is but a brief note, + I hope it has to follow you back home.

All my love for the only + best girl in the world—yourself.

                                                Love + kisses,

 x x x x x x x x  Floyd
