My dear Daugther Lovis.
I
know you will be looking for a letter from me before this letter reaches you. I
looked for a letter from you yesterday but did not get it. It seemes as our
letters is comming farther apart but of course I dont want you to write to me
every day but would like to hear from you onece a week any way I get lumps on
my throath when the mailman dont leave
any mail from my dear folks I would like
to return the comp you gave us in your letter previous the last one but I am
short of laungwich but will do the best I can,
Dearest
Lovis I am proud of you and theere is not one day that passes without I am
complimented on having such good girl last Friday while I was to the Temple I
was covered with compliments for your sake and I fell to praise the Lord from
whom all blessing flow.
I
will enclose a clipping and I hope I dont cause any offense and I will send you
by mail the Relif Sosity Magazine of this mounth and I desire for you to read
it inspecial the peace, little, Be a Friend.
I
am sorry you had a sick finger and I hope it is better now Annie had one of her
fingers cut in half by unturning a lead [lid] on a fruitbottle and when I heard
it I thaugth now theere has been two fingers hurt and I wonder whoes finger
will be the third and sure enouph last Friday evening while I was wiping the
dishes I cut a deep gach in my rigth thumb I soaked it with idone at onece so
it is now nearly better. Verna is down here nearly all the time she is here now
she has a little Japane Parasol and she thinks the world and all of it. she is
cute she minds her own buisness, it is sure awful how Anna Fay will act

wonder how you two are to day I hope you are well and not to buissy for to go
to church, the Scandinavience is haveing theere jubeli at Logan to day the
Paper stated that it was 15000 Scandinaviens
that had come to town from other towns and places I did not go it is
such awful hot weather Arthur and Melvin went a fishing and the cot 9 good size
fish so I shall fry fish for supper.
