My dear Babey Wisa Hello
your
welcome letter of Oct 19 bee recived and also two bundles of Chronicles and we
than you ever so much for all I was glad to hear you was feeling better and do
hope you will keep on to feel alrigth. I have written to both you and Grace
this week be4 and I expeckt you read each others letters and that makes a
lot of reading for one week.
It seemes
as tho it now takes four days for your letters to come from Berkeley I guess it
depends on what time a day they letters are mailed. I got a letter from Joe
yesterday saying they are leaving San Pedro Nov 2nd for Brernerton
navy yard and expeckt to land theere Nov 5th. Joe was very much
disapointed as he expeckted or hoped they would sail for San Fransisco but now
he does not know When that will be mebe he have wrote and told you but as I do
not know if he has or not I thot I would taddle to you. I have looked and
looked at the drawing you done in your letter of the house Gust & Grace is
living in I think I could find your places I would like to try it and if I
should get lost I would soon find my way to the Bakery 1922 Universety Ave.
I have not
had any more headache I have tryed to be good and not bawl as every time I do I
get a headache and my eyes get abloodshot and hurts. I have wanted to go to
town all this week but your Dad and Arthur have used the horse mebe I go to
morrow I guess I must remember Abie with something on his birthday wich is to
morrow.
Tell Irene
thanks for writting to me I shall send her a Halloween card in return Grace
says in her letter that Ireene talks about me. I wonder if you seen Mrs Alcott
or any others of your friends since you got back. I had a lot more on my mind
when I started this letter but it have left my mind so I guess I must wait and
write more next time. O yeas one thing came back to my mind now and that is if
you plaese remind Gust & Grace to look out for burglars for I imagen they
forget and think they are in Malad I was to write it to Grace but I forgot it
untill I had her letter all sealed.
I read in
the Chronicles last evening and find that theere is a lot of robery going on in
Oakland and nearby places. The last letter I wrote to you before this one I
asked a whole lot of questions and so I wish you will answer them one of the
questions was if I shall send thoose pises [pieces]
of clotha and the Pattern. I will send you a clipping I know it be interesting
for you to read I have read it over several times. I guess I better close your
letter so I will have room to write a few lines to Floyd in answer to thoose
much meaning and cute hooks and eyes he wrote in a corner of your letter so
long Baby mine be good and do as you are told and take care of yourself so you
can be well and strong and happy.
Dearest
Floyd thanks for asking us when we are
coming to the land of flowers Well I wish I could say but at the present time I
have no idea but must content myself to walk among a foot deep of yellow leafs
that are now falling down of the trees around our place and then to look at the
high Montains that sorounds Cache Valley and its red Mapel leafs. Lovis can
better tell you about our senery here then I can. I was ashame that Lovis could
not bring you a chicken.
So long
with ever so much love
Your
Ma C.J. Peterson
