Dear Lovis
how are you; fine I hope. I bet you were glad you did not come home last week
being such stormy weather. I went to meeting Sunday and I got wet to the skin
comming home it snowed that hard here.
I been
sweeping and scrubbing this morning and so while I rest I thaught I write a few
lines to you. I thank you for calling us up it helps me out to hear you talk when
you can not come home so I can see you.
Arthur was
to Richmond
yesterday and got the gate and stool that he made while at school it is sure a
dandy gate. It is going to be Religion class conference here next Sunday.
Elvira is on the program she have two poems to learn and reside and I am
helping her to learn them.
Master Mina
is getting better I talked to Bishop Jorgesons vife this morning over the Phone
she goes to see Master Mina everyday.
Our cow is
still alive but that is all she is not able to get up now only when your Dad
helps her so I think we will loose her.
We are all
pretty well all around now. Frank called up last evening and he said Shirley
was feeling find now. See Lovis, if you got room and can think to remember will
you plaese take Elviras apron with you when you come home.
I guess
this is all. I am now going out to plant one Virginia creeper and one rose bush
like Ettiie have by her wall, and mebe if it is not to wet I shall hoe the
violets and some other plants in our flower garden.
With lots
of love from
your
Mumsie
