Sunday or Monday because when I thaugth of it I felt it was foolish off me to
write 3 times to your one. I been very buissy house cleaning I got a new broom
and a new scrubbing brush and I have used thoose last week untill I got so
tired I took chills last Sunday so this week I have not worked so hard, I went
to town last Monday and got lining for your quilt and some brown paint for the
east rooms and your Dad have painted the floor along the sides and am waiting
for it to dry intirely so I can put the rug down it takes time and much
patience in this place. we got the lenolium down in the kitchen and I am sure
glad of it. F.O. helped us to put it down and he done it just fine.
Poor F.O
last Monday infection had set in his finger and he felt pretty blue about it
and he said I guess he will loose some part off his finger I dont know whats
the matter I feel worried because we have not seen F.O. since last Monday noon afte he took me home from town
I guess I shall go and see how the all are to morrow if I dont hear from them
before. Shirly was all better last Sunday. I have not heard from Jennie any
more the saying goes no News is good News but it dont satisfies me in that case
I hope and pray that Audrey our beautiful girl will be all well again and real
soon to.
So I see
you have had Mrs and Miss Arthur to visit with you have the come back to Oakland to live and
what’s there addrass now? and have Mr Arthur work and what is it as? If you see
Mrs Arthur soon again or write give her my love. I heard from Grace and she
told me she had not heard from you since she sent you a parsel and so she was
wondering if it got lost. I guess the vont sell Mase [Max?] dont want them to and as
you know he is able to give good advice Grace says their buisness is real good
yet and that it migth be good for sometime yet while the farmers are freigthing
their grain in to Malad theere is good roads all over now and not very cold. I
will now soon begin to cure feathers and also make your quilt I am dissapointed
because I can not work fast but I hope you will have patience with me you know if
I am well and will live you shall know it by & by I am stout but sure and
