My dear kiddies Floyd and Louise

            I just now have sent a box on express and I am in Logan Post Office writting this note to tell you if they ask you what the box contains say it is Nesal [?] chickens and bread.

            I would feel better in sending it if I paid for the sending.

            Theere is two a three things in the box that I know Floyd will not like but as you Louise just to like such things I put in the box. it is very cold here to day enouph to freeze a brass monkey. When Pa looked at the box this morning after I got it ready he said Gosh that box looks like a porkie pine I admit it is not very neat looking but I dont know why.

            Will close now and write more in two a three days.
