My dear little ones. I wonder greatly how you are to day Abie and myself is well but the boss is not at all well he is up and around cross as a grissly bear. I have eaten 4 potatoes for dinner to day and a pis [piece] of porkchop and gravy a slice of bread and a glass of water so now judge for yourself if I am well or not. Abie and I have cut up the pig this forenoon and we said and wished you and Dad had each a nice roast of it in the oven a cooling for your dinners, I am baking bread and while I got a good fire I will make brayen [or brayer--??] to put the meat donw in so you can see how buissy I am to.

your welcome letter of Nov 10th been recived and the Chronicle also and thanks for all we were glad to hear you been able to do a nickles worth of work the morning you wrote as you must feel some better and a little stronger and so I hope you can be able to contenue on and get a little stronger day by day. I went to see our new baby last sarturday it is a prettie baby but O so poor he is a tall baby but not plump like Shirly was when she was born he had some bruises on his face that was caused from a dry birth as it was 3 hours after the water broke and the baby come and it made it harder Annie feels alrigth and seeme to be getting along all O.K. I have not neither seen or heard anything from them this week so I guess they are alrigth We have nicer weather here now and I am sure glad as it makes it very mirsable when it is so cold that your finger sticks to the pump handle and some skin of your finger stayes on the handle when you pull your hand away.

I found a nice letter from Irene enclosed and it was as clean as a pin, I wonder if the children got the Hallowen cards I sent to them. I am so thankful you are helping Grace to take care of the children when she must do other work but I hope that circumstances will turn so she can spend her time with her children as the time passes on so quickly and it wont be long before they grow up and leave.

I went to Church last Sunday and Charlie Izatt and N W. Crokston was the speakers, I kind a looked for Vanetta but I could not see neither her or her Parents so mebe if she got home she migth be to sick to be out. I guess Edward Palmers is going to have more troubble as they have now apealed to Supreme court about Vilda and Carls troubble. I vonder if you now have heard from Joe in his last letter to us he said that a part of the fleet is quarantine at San Pedro as the black Plauge [plague] has broke out in Los Angeles. I hope it vont spread like the flu did. here is a few words in answer to Floyds question. We like winter if it vont be to cold, the snow is so very white and pretti and when the sun shines on the small trees and bushes its frosty branches shines like silver.

so long with Love and best wishes to all. I am going to eat more potatoes for my supper but coffee will come first you know.

your Moonsie with the big eyes
