dear Daugther Lovis.
It will be
impossible for me to remember all what I have had in my head to write to you
about since I recived your last letter but I will write some of it untill I get
four pages full. I been and am worried over what you said you had behind your
ears I do not know but I dont think a mastoied will come on both sides and it
is more painful than you said this was I hope you did not went to have your ear
opened and that the medecine have caused the pain to go away, I guess you been
in to Much draft. You can not have to Much fresh air but draft is dangerous. I
wish I would soon hear from you so I will know how you are
Well we
have heard from Joe now at last he says he is fine he told me to be sure and
save some of the raspberries for him that I have put up untill next time he
will come home. he sent me a Schelude
sometime ago but it have changed he says he will be at San Pedro from
Tacoma and then back to San Fransisco he gave dates on the old Schelude but
since it have changed he dont say any dates. he was at Tacoma Aug 8. I guess you be surprised when I
tell you who came to see me last Tuesday evening it Was Virginia Hagan, Gladys
came with her I got so surprised and glad to see her I got kind a silly and
soft. she gave me their addrass and she said if you will come to see her. she

she wrote it down herself I guess E.U. Hagan supposed to come first but she
wrote it last. so I coopied it Virginia
is sure a sweet girl to come to see me and how comacal that the lived in the
same town you was married in. I guess Myra is home now I can not wait untill I
have a change to go and see her, Abie and Melvin went to Bannock yesterday
Morning with the team so I have not the horse home mebe I take a walk in to see
Myra, Your Dad will go to Bannock to Morrow evening F.O. is going to take him
in is car your Dad is not feeling very good the water proposition bothers him
awful now again he can not do the choers only milk I have done the rest all
week. I will have it all to do when he goes but F.O. got to come back so to be
at school next Monday then he will help me milk if you Dad dont come back home
with him.

Tell Dr White thanks for that little stingy word hello and say for him to have
it at the top of your letter any way and not to be the last word in it. I been
wondering if I will get the Photo I asked for. I am buissy putting up tomatoes,
making jelly, and peeling apples for to put upp and to dry, I guess the peaches
will be high the are not allowed to ship any out from Brigham the town is
quarantine on the account of Tyfoid fever theere 160 cases of Tyfoid now and
manny deaths the deasise have come through bad water. Verna is down here nearly
all the spare time she have she is going to sleep here when her Grandpa goes to

pages, Well When I read the letter over I thaugth mebe you wonders how Virginia
