Dearest Lovis
your Dad wants me to write to
you, I guess you have the letter by this time telling you that Gorge Hopkin and
Abie runned away togather last tuesday nigth, and theere is no clue found of
them yet. Theere was a car stolen from Mr Cerum on the 9th North
Logan the same nigth the boys left and the[y] are suspision theese two boys to
have taken it, but of course we or no body know yet who took the car because
the[y] have not found the car either.
Now Abie
is just as liable to hunt you up so I thaugth I would warn you because if you
remember how he just to do so keep your things heed good and hold on him
because he can not be trusted, plaese keep this quite [quiet] to him and let us
know if you have seen him or heard anything of him or Gorge and as soon as you
get this letter write or if you got any clue at any time to let us know rigth
away if you see Arthur plaese if you can persuade him to leave Gorge Hopkins
alone and if you could manage to know were [where] he is untill you hear from
us after you have written to us mebe you can find out if the[y] have stolen any
car and what the[y] have done with it,
I dont
expeckt Arthur will write to us if the[y] have stolen a car and rode away in,
is this not awful for we have or been and is worrieng ourselfs sick but the
poor boys will get the worst of it themselves, I pray the Lord will have Mercy
on us all so long with much love as always.
