My Darling Sis & Darling Floyd.
Dad has written so I’ll just scribble a line or two before he seals it, I know what you think of me, its this” she doesn’t give a da—for me,” but your mistaken, I wonder if the day will come when I quit working in the bakery I wouldn’t have much to do but I’ve got more now than I ever had; and I’ve only been to the Bakery ½ doz times all Winder & that was just to walk through. But the baby has been a real job. He has been more care alone than Irene & Darold was to-gether. He is begunning to show a little improvement now. He gets his orange juice at 9 a.m. & Graham crackers at 4 P.M. besides his bottle 8-11-2-5-8-11 & nurses the breast at 2 & 5 in the night so you see how my time is taken besides the rest, washing etc- “you’ll find out.” My regular time for moping the kitchen floor is 7 P.M & then I have an hour to my self & I’m so faged out I can’t write, but I’m silly scrubbing & cleaning all the time. I’d like to forget it. but I think of you a million times a day. How are you, I was glad when your letter came to Dad he wasn’t here but I couldn’t resist the temptation so I opened it. Will you forgive me? You & Floyd were here a year ago to-day, Irene’s birthday tomorrow & you were here for her party do you remember? Things were different wasn’t they? O Gee. I sure get the blues but I try not too. Veras mother died it seems like all our old friends are signing off I had so much to tell you & now I can’t think of a thing only we are haveng some miserable weather cold & blizzards every day. Dad doesn’t feel so good in this cold weather he said, felt better out there in the warm.

We have got or did have 100 little chicks. “Floyd come & give them an injection.” I never got so disgusted with any thing in my life, but they are coming find now. lost 10 out of 100 isn’t so bad they wasn’t very strong in the beginning.

Say I’ve got some real news for you: Annie is starting out with a papoose again poor kid she is so sick. I feel so sorry for her. don’t say anything that I told you, let her tell you herself if she wants to. I am having a surprise on Irene to night 7 little girls. I told her she couldn’t have a party so I’ll fool her. She & Darold are doing fine with their music.

Say did you ever get the negliga you never said. But I sent it. Maybe it got lost.

Say you kinda put me off my track about what I should help you with. Do you want the flannel petticoat I’ve got? I’ll make 3 head shawls & 2 dresses & send the shawl say yea or nay. so I’ll know where I’m at & if I make them no use for you to make them to.

I’ll have to quit & go up town for a minute & mail this letter so you’ll get it I know you’re a grinning now. & I don’t blame you. Be good and don’t forget I love you both. Lots of love from Grace
