Dearest all and all to me

            I came home to N. Logan yesterday afternoon I found a letter here from you We are glad to hear you are well last Monday Morning at 3 30 a m Graces Phone rung it was F.O. called and said the[y] had a new big baby boy been born a half hour ago after I been home for a while I went down to F.Os Annies sister Gorgia was theere and Coras girl Gladys to so the[y] had plenty help only Gorgia been upp so much at nigths and had done a big washing yesterday she was all in so I stayed all nigth so she could have a rest. Annie and the baby is fine the baby is much larger than any one of the rest have been he is the image of his Dad but from what I heard it took the baby much longer to come than any of the other 3 but all is well now.

            your Dad is the same as b 4. Grace been up two days when I left her but was feeling weak but I thaugth it was no need me staying any longer so I got 101 things here for me to do. I am sure thankful you think that the mormon girls are hard to beat and O yeas dear Lovis I know it to and I know how cold the world is in general but we must not ditch ourself because we are a favored people.

            Grace and Gus have a radio and we were trying to Get Salt Lake last Sunday evening but we could not get it and no one else either only McPherson and Oh for the noise now dear Lovis O no not Sadie Nyman theere is hope just be careful and pray to your Heavenly Father to bless you and if you are not to have any children in this world you shall have more children in the next world than any woman who had them in this world.

            Yeas we hear from Joe he was at Santa Cruz at the time of the earthquake but are at San Pedro now but will soon go to Washington, I guess he has not much monny to travel on or for anything else as he is paying on his Garl [? Possibly Sarl?] and place.

            I had a letter from Jennie and she said her and her husbaund did not get to go as far north as she expeckted she was sorry she could not see you now I better close and go to work I am waiting and nearly dying to get some good news to tell you but my promise is to keep it untill it happens mebe you can guess but plaese do not say anything it migth turn out like the surprise I was to give Floyd if you can guess just write a mark like this V in a corner of your letter Do not be nerveous as it is good news
