 My Dearest Aunt Dede,

Received your most welcome letter a couple of days ago so I guess I had better answer before you think I can’t write or something, Huh?

So sorry you were sick but don’t know wether to take that as an excuse or not. I wish I had been there I’d have soaked your neck in hot water and get a little revenge but I’ll get my revenge yet. Wait and see. You can’t do me that way and get away with it. Sorry?

So you’ve got a ??? Ever hear Annie ??? Gosh I’m sure storing up religion listening to her but it gets knocked in the head when I go to reading scriptures? Don’t know what to think. Guess I’ll stay Mormon.

Serves you right driving so fast. You should take after me and go ??? miles an hour. That’s plenty fast for any lady!

The hand is ok and I’m knocking them for a row in the work outs with sixteen ounce gloves but don’t know how it will hold up with six rounds. Hears hoping it looks as I’m due to get the best out of me if it don’t on the twenty Sixth of this mo.

Saggio must have sent some of that bread away. They shouldn’t have sold it in Preston. ha ha.

Well. I’ll close and hope to hear from you soon.

                                                                        As ever,
                                                                        Joe
