The Thanksgiven day is past once more thank goodness altho we had a good good dinner down to Franks and a thousend one thing to be thankful for not only on Thanksgiven Day but on every day. It been raining here every nigth for the last week and it is clear in the mornings and a canion breeze that makes it feel like a spring mornings this morning it is a little differents it begun to snow at 5 a m so there is snow on the ground now and the mountains are covered with snow clear down to the foot hills I guess the snow will soon melt down here in the Valley as the sky is clear now

I been home for the last week I stayed with Annie for 10 days the Dr said she was getting along so well she could get upp and she sure did fine I have never seen the like where ever I been or seen I went down for 4 more days in the mornings to bath the baby untill Annie got a little stronger. I have washed a few things since I got home and I sent the rest to Laundry and F.O. went and got it for me O I am proud when I get the bundle back all clean and mangled smooth ready to put away dosent I thank you I could add some more but I get the blues and then I am done for I know you dont want me to get the blues so I shall stop and begin to tell you some news. I suppose Abie is now in Camp Lewis Washington a pretty rouph place I suppose we got a card from him saying he was on his way to his New Home and would send his addreass when he got there he was in Pocatello when he wrote and sent the card.

Now my dears I must ask you to plaese escuse me I can not yet tell you what I want to but I hope I soon can as I been waiting to long how. I am glad you have a cat but do not let curiosity kill it take care of it seeing it been willed to you. O yeas Mrs Bolton will be alrigth she vont have time to worrie, worrie brings on troubble in her circumstances quicker than any thing else Mrs Bolton should of come here Dr Eliason told us he had brougth 17 babyes in two weeks I belive Annies boy were the 14th he told us this when on his 3rd visit to Annie. this baby is sure cute you remember Shirley how cute she was well this little man beats her he is well and are growing when it was born Lewis wanted to know what they was going to do with baby brother I guess Dad will give him to Grandma thats me you know he thaugth they could not keep both baby brothers Shirley is dissapointed she been promised Santa Claus would bring her a baby sister,

Oh year dear folks if I am well and have the monny to travel on you bet your boots I come when you have your pojk but you must not fool me as I am more needed here to help your Dad he is gone to town already this morning to pay our taxes he walked so slowly down the road F.O. will take him to town so he only walked to F.O.s place, I told him I go but he dont think I know to do it rigth and to get lawful reciets.

I know you must of got awfully surprised when Floyd told you about thoose 5 men coming to see you how did it come to be 5 as it did not used to be only 2 and 2 I am glad the found you as that is their duty to visit the members of the Church but I would prefer that they come When Floyd would be at home as we know suspision is from the Devil and we must be on our guard yesterday I had a surprise to I was buissy and did not expeckted any body to come, here came Darold and Cimber Hanson to spend their Thanksgiven vacation with us they were dressed up to beat the band so I did not now them at firest The caried a big satsel [satchel] full of every day clothes ready to wear to have a rouph tumble and 6 loafs of bread Pa got so very surprised he said what in heck is this a comming they can not play outside to day as it is to wet on the ground they are now looking at the Montgomery Catalouge and bumping this table I just love to have them they now got sigth of my wool cards so now I guess I must stop and demonstrate wool carding now it is done they boy are curious and wonderiy how it can be done they came down on the inturban mebe Grace will come down to morrow or else they will go home on the 5.50 p m car to morrow.

I have had company from Blackfoot Charlie and Bennet been to Salt Lake taking and seeing their second son to go on the mission he is going to the Southern States theere were 85 elders leaving Salt Lake last week to go on missions to different parts of the world Bennets said that theese boys or men all had their Parents with them to Salt Lake to see them leave they were all happy.

Now I guess I have taddle plenty so I shall close at last only how did you spend your Thankgiven Day I guess you and your friend Ida ate dinner togather I hope thoose folks and you will have many enjoyable times togather. I am curious to know that compliment as I would hate to kill our Tom he is so fat and pretty now his fur is black and shinie. O yeas I forgot to tell you that Bishop Hanson or the Mayor of Preston had an automobile accident a week ago and got seriously injured this boy Cambrey says his Dad is very sick his whole rigth side is pushed out of shape and several other cuts and bruses, Oh dear I hate to be him and I hope he will live with his family.

Well here some more news you heard I guess about the young woman in Preston that died in child bearing I guess Grace have told you it was Vida Anderson you remember her she just to come to our place when she was a girl her husband is the agent at the Preston Interurban Station she left 3 a 4 children Selma Lundberg is keeping an 4 years old girl. Selma is almost alone her boy is out on mission and she have no children only another girl.

will now close and go to work, will close with ever so much love your Mother. The boyses gone up to the store to buy candy they got spending money Abie says he is a regular Soldier now he took his out a few days before he left, let us not forget to pray for him he is a Military Police he say that were the only place that were open.
