My dear folks at Petaluma

            it is 12 30 a m or noon I am in the Bank I am borrowing the $250 at 8 percent interest Due November 3^rd. Pa said for me to tell a fib and the fib is that we are owing you the monny and you want it let this be a secret just between you and us we hope this is alrigth to you, We have given our water Shares in securety.

            I am enclosing a Cashiers Check for $250. as soon as I have signed the note I will go to the Post Office and send the monny or the check in a registered letter.

            I hope you are well, We are as usual.

 P.S. Plaese let us know as soon as you can and if it is all satisfacktory to you. I asked for the monny for one year but they would not let me have it. the interest is Payable June 3—1927 and Nov 3 1927.
