My dearest baby

It is 11 15. A M. It is a beautiful morning the sun is shining brigth and warm through theese windows and I got the doors open so to air the house and it feels good to brathe this fresh air it is the second day to day we had this nice weather the snow is all melted around the house and the grass is peeping green between the glittering and running water but for all this I know we will have a second winter as this is to early for spring.

I wonder how you are this morning I hope you are all fine and dandy Abie and I are well this morning. Your Dad have told me the reason why you had the toothache well you sure are lucky for not get blood poison, some dentists do not know their buisness. This ward will hold their reunion to Morrow I am invited but I dont know if I will go or not it depends on what kind of humor I am in to morrow morning.

We got some sickness in our ward little Ray Maughn got the apensites Dr Eliason been out early in the mornings both yesterday and to day I been told that he can not be operated on but the reason why not I do not know he been sick ever since last Friday. Auntie Susan is taken care of old lady Nyman and she stayes there and does the housework to as they can not get along alone and their daugthers have to much work of their own to help to take care of their Mother. sister Nymans foot is all healed up and she has quitt the Dr and his medecine all the medicine she takes now is laxatives. she seemes real cheerful at times and is able to come to the table and sit up and eat and now she eats anything but at times she takes severe spells with gallstone she is a piculiar case.

Well my dear baby your 26th anniversiry is aproaching and I like to send you something but as I am a poor hand at it I will inclose just $11 and with it goes my blessing and best wish wishing you manny happy returns of the day. Mebe I will go to town this afternoon and mebe not.

What did you do in Oakland last sarturday? have you got your black dress done now. I guess I will wear my new black skirt and white waist to morrow for the first time and my gray sweater coat if I go. I will enclose a clipping and it showes that the devil is not bound around here any more then he is in San Fransisco.

I guess I vont write to your Dad this week so if you plaese will tell him that I dont know now just how soon I can send him the $5 as br Folkman told me when he got the harness that he could not pay it all at onece and that he would pay $5 the next mile pay the 11 of this mounth and then mebe all the rest on the 11 of March and I belive he means what he says and as he needed the harness I let him have the harness I have not seen him since I heard from you but when he got the harness we asked $15 and he said alrigth I hope this is alrigth so your Dad vont be uneasy about it.

Well I guess this is all only I will ask you to give my love to Floyd, to your Dad, to Gust & Grace and the children. I will close with ever so much love and kisses wishing your first birthday was the first on of your life and I could put your head on my arm and cuddle you to my breast. Well no more or no less said so by by be good take care of your self. I am the same as always your dear Mumsie.                                                       I am enclosing a sermon for your Dad to read.
