Your welcome letter come Tuesday we are sorry you was sick
but hope you feel better and stronger now, I been outside all forenoon planting
cucumbers and cabbage and hoeing in the onions and the carrots wich is upp and
are growing nicely I am afraid I stayed outside to long so I am sorry if I vont
have time to write much off a letter to day before the mail carier comes. I
know you be lonesome when Grace leaves but you got your kind and good husbaund
who answers for us all and more so. I am glad you enjoyed that prayer I copied
and sent and I hope you likewise liked the sermon, I am enclosing onother
sermon to day and I pray that it vont cause any offense what ever I enjoyed
myself reading it as it all the truth.
We had Dr
and Mrs Israelson call on us last Monday after noon we comgratulated the Dr he said he had a very good
visit with you and that Floyd is an idial man. he also said or asked if you
told us if you been or was to some doings at the University that he gave you
tickets for. The wanted to take me for a carried but I had bread to bake and so
I cold not go. We have rain and thunder every day but the weather is lovely all
the same as the grass and other crops seemes to grow and is looking fine. I
wonder if Gust and Grace and the children have left to day. now Lovis plaese
dont feel bad some day our eyes will be tearless when theere will be no more
parting for any one who belives and obey the Gospel off Jesus Christ.
here comes
the mailcarier by Nymans so I will close with ever so much love, no name
mentioned and no one for gotten, I shall write more next time, and if you
plaese will write soon, I am ever your Ma Peterson.
