My dear daugther Lovis, How are you & Floyd this Morning? mebe we will know this afternoon how you were three days ago anyway. It is now 11 a.m I been buissy running around doing nothing all morning but it feels good for me to sit down any way even if I have not acomplished much. Bishop Kemp is just now coming up the road on an old old truck being to the College for four barrels of milk for his chickens he is sure a buissy man & if he dont make a success in life it von’t be his fault F.O. has our hay cut and raked in winn [?] rows it is rather early but being such wet spring the hay this year is ready now for harvesting the first crop.

Every thing seemes so very quite around here now since the school closed the only ones you can see now in the streets is Zella and La Von Palmer sitting on an old white horse herding cows and then Karen Wurtian down below the bridge riding on a bycicle and her little brother herding their cows. I think I have answered your letter so will tell some news, first is Ernest and Vera have baugth a new Ford Coupe and so they are like the rest of the folks, yeas and even Golden and Ettie have baugth an Esex couch Golden do not know much about running a car so you can find them almost any where along the roads dead stuck waiting for some one to come and see what is the matter and to start them out F.O. has started them out several times it tickles F.O. he comes and tells me and lauphes about it. Vilate Nyman got a new baby boy it is two weeks old now the same day the baby were born her husbound got knocked down with a car he got his shoulder broke and several bad bruses in his head and other parts of his body. Vilates sister Mrs Annie Corbet from Smithfield is staying with them and nurses and takes care of them. Poor Mooster Mina has had another stroke, a neabor of Mooster Mina wanted me to come in but as I was sick at the time I could not go I have had Ormonds to Phone to Mrs Jorgeson a neabor to Lundbergs to ask how she was so the last I heard she was feeling better I have thaugth if Grace comes down in their car mebe she will take me down to see her. I like to go to town any way I have a few small errands to do I have been to town just oncce xmas that was the time Pa was up to Preston, if I could walk to the car like I just to do but I dont feel I can so I must vanta lite. Junious Palmer is no better she been down to Ogden to a Dr theere that claimed he could cure her but she came back no better the N. Logan Relif Sosity Woman been helping her to do her house cleaning. Well I guess this is enouph news only one more before I quitt my gossiping and that is that Claus Swenson have passed away this spring he was living with his Granddaugther Anna at Cressont south of Salt Lake.

Thanks for the clipping you sent where I can read of Floyds sugsess in getting upp upp upp and upp and are still climbing. I recived a letter a few days ago fro Mrs Griffeath Franks mother telling me she was leaving her Mother at Mo May the 26th to go to Madera Calif to her boys vont that ber halleuhjarum in special now when the Gubbe Mr Griffeath is theere  with another vife, I dont know who to pitty Mrs Griffeath or Geneva, or any of the rest for instance Mrs Canon & even Frank. Your Dad is telling me now he likes his dinner so I shall fix some for him this paper is full any way and I can not afford to scribble on more than one sheet at a time on this expansive paper. Give my love to Floyd and exept an ocean full of Love for from your Ma Caroline J. Peterson.
