My dearest
Lovis It is now 7 a m have had my coffee F.O is going to Salt Lake on the 8 a m
car he had notice to be at the Fedaral Office at 2 p m to day, I guess for
another examination ou know we have a cow that no one can milk but F.O. and so
he come every morning and nigth to milk that cow Pa could milk her before he
got worse but I never could milk her FO been here already this morning and so
he had coffee with me and sweet buiscuts and butter on them he enjoys having
coffee with me he sits and eats and snuffs and when he is in a nurry like today
he dont say a word.
Your Dad is
not upp yet he has been a little worser since last Sunday. yesterday when the
mail carier did not bring us a letter from you I thaugth I guess Lovis is
getting over her lonesomeness as we dont hear from her as often now as we did
and that is a good thing as it is bad to be lonesome We heard from Joe last
Monday he said he have felt homesick since he reaenlisted & it will be bad
for him if he can not get it changed or will feel different I wrote to him
yesterday. I shall be glad when I can see him but Oh when he must leave it will
be hard. as I have so manny things before to make me sad when I allow my self to
let my mind wander.
I am making
soap I made two batches yesterday I wanted to make two more batches to day but
Ada did not had any lye in her store last evening so I could not do it untill
she get some in town to day. Well I am glad you read thoose clippings I send
you I am so afraid you will forget who you are it is sure awful how the world
or the poeple are breaking the Sabbath Day it is bad enouph here leave alone in
a country where you live in theere is more traffic here on Sunday than any
other day rigth in our corner. you asked me what will become of thoose people
well we can read in the holy Bible and get our answer theere.
I like to
tell you a little gossip again, Gladys is still home she passed here yesterday
and her Mother was in their bugge Gladys chewing and picking her finger nails
as usual you remember I guess hou she used to do and her mother a driving the
horse ha ha she is cute any way. Jennie Nelson have left Logan
she took her children and went back to Calif
I shall tell you all about my little choers next time I
write.
