My dear and only baby Lovis

I wonder how you are this morning your letter been recived in wich I see all thoose different figures or shapes of yourself what if you should twist your self to the pisis one of these mornings while you are having those exercises I have to lauph every time I look at those things and I ask myself and wonder what will be the next you will get into your head to do. it is 10 a m I have got the stove full of kittles and pans and something in every one that is good to eat when it gets done. I got tomatoes a boiling down and I shall make catchup from it, I got rootbeets a cocking for pickles, and I got a roaster on the stove for our dinner and carrots and potatoes all peeled and ready to put on the stove when the chicken get nearly done. I am invited upp to Ormonds this afternoon I guess I shall go they have send word to me twice to be sure come Myrtle is home from Bannock she is home to be sick pretty soon so I guess that is why Sister Ormond wants me for. you know.

Ellen Ashling is gone to Dicksie to visit her Mother. I came home from Annies and Franks last Tuesday morning I took the 8 30 A m car to the 9th north and walked home it went fine your Dad had just sat down to have his coffee when I came home, Shirly was alrigth when I came away so theere was no need of me staying down theere when I have a house full of work of my own to do it is frost every nigth now so the garden stuff needs to be dug and stored away. I am looking for Grace to come down but I guess she vont come to day as the Elks are gathered in Preston to day and are having a celebration of some kind and so the Baker got big orders to fill and so Grace helps to work I dont see why I dont hear from Joe it is now two weeks since he sent word for me to send him $50 and so I sent them but I have not heard from him since I wonder if the monny got lost or what he needed the monny for Mebe he has struck off for Sidney.

In one of your letters you asked if Gus have thoose colds in his nose now, no not so bad I asked him when I was upp theere and he said O no not bad now. I went to see the show in wich Ireene had a part, Irene done find she was dressed all in pink and to my notion off course she was the cutest child theere Grace said she is going to have Ireenes picture taken in her custom and send to you. the Lady that had charge over the show wants Grace to let her take Irene with her to play in some other places but Grace said no not my baby is going to go on the road as a show girl. Thanks for all the clippings and the program you sent me, I am glad the Petaluma Vodevilleans was a success. I feels myself to say in my humble way Thanks to al thoose who so kindly doanted  their services I wish Abie was included as one in them Boys and and the work. Could you learn in part two Why girls leave home, please tell me.

O no Lovis I know better than to let on to Arthur how we or I feel about or to all thoose perfecktions around here, I dont got no sympathy for them they steal and lie every day and so some day the got to pay for their sins if they do a glorying now while Abi is paying for his misstakes you know Lovis it was a time when I did not think I had an enemy but it is different now I know I have enemys now as I can tell by their actions, just hink what an expense and worrie this Andrew Band Folletts have put on me I have now went to Ogden 7 times and have traveled 715 miles and spent about $3 each time and I am not the only one F.O. have hired a man each time to work in his place and have used his car each time but this last time we went in Graces car and here Grace have been to see Abie every mounth since she came back from Calif and wore the tires flat and have had other dissconvienience and expances each time, O I be so ashamed if I was thoose men but they have not got the sence the Lord give to geese.

Now my dearest folks plaese do not let the Gospel off Jesus Christ be the thing off the past but seek the straigth and narrow way that leadeth to life eternal I am so afraid Lovis you having such many nice new friends you will be tangled upp in all this worldly ways and fashions that theere you will soon forget the work off the Lord and think theere is nothing to it, plaese do not forget to pray to the Lord every day of your life and ask Him to keep you in the faith and the work that saves you and gives you true happiness. I do not remember if I have answered all your questions If I have not if you reminds me of them I shall answer qicker so I vont forget, We got beutiful weather here now only the nigths are cold and frosty your Dad and I are as usual, I guess you have now moved in to the new house I hope you be well so you will enjoy it living in a bran new house so long with Love to Floyd and to yourself, Mother.
