all are I am glad that you can atetnd the Relif Sosity meetings I am sorry to
say that I have not been to Relif Sosity or Sacrament meetings since last Nov
as I did not dare leave the house unless I could get Abie to come with me and he
absolutly refused so I had to stay home. I am sorry you had to wait for a
letter from us but that is how it goes sometime we got nice weather here to day
I been out side all forenoon working I cleaned out the chicken coop and spread
the manure on the flower garden and I also raked up leaves and put them out on
the street your Dad can not work any at all he feels a little better tho to day

the B.Y. College gave a free opera on the 18 of this mounth for the old folks
of Logan and Cache Velley stakes your Dad and I went we got a ride in with Br
& sister Ormond in their car it was a vey nice opera I belive it was the
best the[y] ever had played I will enclose the Program I guess you will know
some of them that had parts.
I
suppose you knew sister Hyers of Lewiston, sister Kemps Mother, well she have
passed away and the remarkable was and is that she died the same day and hour
that sister Kemps baby were born. Mrs Hyers had the same deasiese as Old Lady
Nyman, I got one nice letter from Audrey yesterday and she told me about Joe
been to see them and how nice he was and how nice he loked and she said that
the Navy had not changed him for being a nice boy. Abe went to the National
Guard at evening to drill and as he have grawed [growed] out of the uniform he
had so they gave him a new outfit and he sure looked nice dressed up in it. I
guess you will ask where I got this fancy stationary well Helen Johnson send me
a box for x mas and this is ti I think it was a real nice of her dont you? Your
Dad been telling me that I should go to work and help you girls and not keep on
to only write write but my dearest girls if you will let me know wherein you
need me I am more then willing to do what you wants me to and need me for if
the Lord blesses me with health and strength and you think I can do and should
do.
I know I
had a lot more on my mind that I thaugth of writting to you about but as it has intirly [entirely]
left my memory now so I will wait to next time I write see if I remmber it
then.
I will
now close with 27 years of love to you and to Floyd from your Mother
Caroline J. Peterson
P.S. I wish for both Grace and you to get the news and I
think it be funny if I wrote the same to you both at the same time so if you
let each other read each others letters then it would not be any
missunderstanding.
