My dear Baby Lovis
In order
you will hear from home on or before nesct sarturday I shall write a few lines
we hope you are both well, I been comming in from the mailbox with a long face
for the last few days be cause their have not been a letter from you I know you
are buissy and the letter got a long way to come but I guess we will now soon
hear from you your Dad are now sitting in the sun on those tree stumps by the
cows tub in the lane he does not seem to be any better or worse and are still
not able to do any work some time he tries to pump and carie water for the cows
but it is hard for him he complain and says he get short of breath and I can
see that without him telling it
Grace came
down last Friday noon
Darold and Irene were with her we had a nice visit to gather they stayed over
nigth and left last Sarturday afternoon, Gus came down yesterday evening they
have bougth that lot across the street south east from where the live and if
you noticed there were a big lumber house on and sometime Gus comes through
their going cross lots and through the back yards going to the bakery Well Gus
and Grace wants FO to come up to Preston and help to tare that lumber building
down as it will be in the road as they are goint to build a house there for
them selfs rigth away, Casperson have sold the place where Gus and Grace lives
to some company and they are now putting upp a service statin in the corner and
it almost joins the house were Grace lives in and pretty soon that company is
going to put upp a Gastank theere also so Grace is awful nerveous and like to
move out of the house as soon as possible, I be scared to vouldn’t you?
The weather
here now is just lovely there for a week it was so warm we nearly suffocated,
last Sunday we had a wind and dust storm it lasted all day and the next nigth
we escpeckted a thunderstorm but we did not get it here but they have had it
some wheres and it have helped to cool of the heat in the Valley,
Hello my
dear Floyd how are you? Do you ears ever burns, we are talking about you and
Lovis every day. I hope thoose Drs you work for are good to you and treats you
with a kind respeckt and also payes you good for I know you earns and deserves
it. Our cows is sure doing fine they are fat and acts as if they are rigth well
and they both give a good mess of milk twice a day they been away one time
since you Dr on them and that were soon after you left and they have never said
anything since so we are sure greatful to you for your help. Well I guess this
is all for this time only I pray God to bless you two and us tow.
