                                                                                    June 30—1925

My dear dear babys Floyd and Lovis

Yours so nice and kind letter off June 15—1925 was recived yesterday and we are glad to see you are as fine as find can be.

The check and the cards you sent for my birthday been recived I am unable to express how I apriciate your kindness but I thank you a thousend times I know I never be able to return your kindness so I pray God to bless you.

The folks arived here last Friday nigth at 10 p m they are well but very tired. They went to Garland yesterday morning to see their place and to go to Malad and come back by Preston Idaho so I guess they von’t be back before this eveing the children are home with us. they dont get lonesome for their Pappa & mamma they eat, sleep and play. Darold have buried a dead pullet this forenoon he dug a grave for it below the barn and he made a headboard for it and Grandpa wrote on it and it says chick pullet born June 7, died June 30—1925. and Darold have put a bougue [bouquet] off flower on the grave by the headboard.

We got warm weather here to but not to hot just the kind we need for things to grow you asks me to tell you about Arthur well on the nigth off March the 25th or 26th just as Arthur and all of us was About to go to bed Gorge Hopkin came and whistle and Arthur went out to him and they both went upp the road to the meeting house the M men had a rehearsal in the meeting house and some off them had come to it on horse back so Gorge and Abie untied Orion Folletts and Andrew B. Nymans horses and got on them and rode on them down to Carl Ericksons corner then they left the horses theere and Abie came home and Gorge went to town, It made theese two men Orie and Andrew awful mad when their horses were missing so the[y] searched for the horses but did not find them untill the next morning but some one had seen the boys riding on the horses and that’s how they knew who got the horses, Gorge he runn away or skipped but Abie was home to bed aslep when Andrew B. came walking in and put his fist in Abies face and told him he was to put Arthur over the road I did not knew then what it was about but it was not long before the summons came for Abie to appear in the Juvenile Office

Pa went with Abie Abie confessed they took the horses but did not realized it was such a big offence so they sentenced him in the Industrial school anyway from now untill 21 years off age, off course it all depends on himself if he can get out before. Gorge been in Logan since but they did not bothered about him he is free and around somewhere I know you wonder why I have not told you this before but when Arthur went on the 30 off March he asked me not to tell your or Grace as you would feel to bad. I can tell you that this was hard for me to keep from telling as I needed sympathy but as Abie asked me I promised him faithfull I would not tell where he was but as he was first to tell I know he dont care now if  you know why he was put theere. Your Dad and F.O. been to see him and when I wrote to McGill I enclosed a sealed letter to Grace and told her where Abie was and to stop at Ogden to see him and they did, Well my dear folks I am not capable off writting very good about this but Will if you ask questions I can answer them better then I can write about it all at onece like this.

soo you are thinking about leaving Berkeley and go into buisness off your own so I will wish you sucsess. [success]
