My dear
daugther Lovis
Just got a few
lines in add to what I wrote July 20th. I know you are or will wonder why you
dont gets a letter.
My
intention was when I wrote on the 20th to finish the letter on the
21st and mail it in the afternoon, I was out picking berries that
day untill I saw a car turning in to ward our place the[y] opened the vire gate
and come down our lane and the folks gout out and begun to vave with their
hankirchifs at me and walking down to wards me I was in the berries untill then
and who should it be but the McGill folks the whoole family so you see I have not
had one change [chance] to sit down to write but they went to Preston to day
they wanted me to go with them but I rather stay home and write and get a
little rest and go to Preston when I can stay a couple off days the folks will
all be back to nigth.
Thanks
for the letter I recived last Wednesday I was glad Floyd got back from Monterey
all O.K. and for all the kind and encouraging things off what that letter
contained. I like to write now and tell you or rather answer you on that letter
but honestly I am so very tired in my head so I will wait to answer it when the
company have left.
We

father who is dead and Lovis and I was going through for some one else. I had
my recomend all signed and our clothes all ready and when we came to the Temple
it was closed being the 24th we all got very dissapointed I guess
they vont get that work done before the[y] go home they migth leave here next
Monday and the Temple is closed untill next Wednesday mebe the[y] leave before
as not they went to Preston to day instead off to morrow.
