Dearest Baby Visa.

It is now 1,15 p m and now I sat me down to spend the time writting to you untill the mailman is in sigth, I went upp to Preston a week ago this afternoon and got back last Tuesday this being the first time I had the change [chance] to visit them and stay over nigth, When I got home I found 3 new letters laying on the table all from you I like to have written to you while I was in Preston but theere was no time and place for writting as the fair was going on and every body on the runn so it did not look good for me to sit and write so I did not do it but I thaugth I wait untill I came home, I thank you my dear Visa for writting that often your letters helps me more than you can realize

I am glad to hear you are alrigth and able to eat, sleep, and be out and around. I shall answer your letters in turn and in order as the[y] come now about the flower seed, I gave Ellen, Vera, sister Darling some off thoose flower seeds and I planted them in my flower garden. I did not had very good luck with mine to much shed but theese others had yellow flowers and squas [?] all over their  places, Darold is all well now and going to school he gave me some off his work and asked me to send it ot you  We dont know where Darold got it from Irene did not take the yellow jaunders so it dont look as if it is contagious, Grace said she shall write to you soon, I belive you when you say you are lonesome to see us we are all lonesome to see you and we hope we can all see you next summer.

I do not know what is the cause off Eunices troubble, Ada told me she is pä tok [ “a Miss” according to google translator] yeas I asked Vera when she heard from you last and she said the last she heard from you was late last vinter, she said theere is lots off her mail that gets lost as there is 3 parties that have one box and that is by the Old man[illegible] gate  Andrew B. is one off the partys and his boy comes and gets thir [their] mail and Vera says they loose lots off their mail.. that boy off Andrews should be put over the road, should he not? Esta Kemp is in bed the most off the time. Sister Ormond feels better and is upp and around in the house but she is still taken Medicine for Dropsy and for her hart.

I have now answered one off your letters the mailman is in sigth so I vont get time to write much more but will write soon again, I will just say a little about Joe and his love affair, I feel bad over it when I think it over I must cry it make me feel like I am and will not be any more to him as a stranger so you can imagen how I feel, I wonder if you will see him when he gets to San Fransisco. Give him my best Love anyway if you see him, My hart just bleed if he will marrye a forigner give my love to Floyd, and tell him I was glad to again see his finger marks, so long my dear daugther with a while lot off love from your Mother C.J. Peterson.
